In this brief interview, Mark describes the inspiration behind his piece, State Of Independence. The painting was featured as part of The Tampa Bay Lightning's Celebration Of The Arts exhibition, displayed in the Tampa Bay Times Forum for the duration of the 2012-2013 hockey season. This interview played on the Forum’s new oversize video screen / scoreboard which hangs over the rink.
